Just a two-minute stroll from the centre of the picturesque village of Glengarriff, step on board the Blue Pool Ferry for a 15-minute boat trip to Garinish Island.
This magical West Cork island is home to gorgeous gardens set against the dramatic backdrop of Bantry Bay and the Caha mountains. It’s a popular destination for gardeners, walkers, and families looking for a fascinating and fun day outdoors!
The island is open to visitors from March to the end of September, and the Blue Pool Ferry runs twice each hour when the gardens are open. Tickets can be pre-booked online or bought at our kiosk in the village centre, just metres away from our Blue Pool departure point.
Bring your camera to capture the views on your trip. And start looking forward to meeting the wildlife in Glengarriff harbour as we tour past Seal Island and Eagle Point before docking at Garinish Island!
